ABROAD RENTAL TERMS

1) RESERVATION
1.1 After making a reservation, our team will contact the car rental provider to confirm the reservation request. Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive a voucher by email within 24 hours, which will include all necessary reservation information as well as the general rental terms. If you make a reservation less than 2 days before the rental, the voucher may be sent shortly before the pickup time.

 

1.2 The car photos shown are indicative to understand the car category, so the rented car may differ from the image. For this reason, it is not possible to make a reservation for a specific brand and model of a car. In case of unavailability of a confirmed reservation, the provider reserves the right to deliver a car of a higher category to the customer without charging them. It is very important for the renter to check the vehicle upon pickup and report any existing damage to avoid being charged for damage from a previous rental. The renter will be asked to sign a relevant document for existing damages on the vehicle upon pickup and return.

 

1.3 For returning the car to a different location from the pickup location, it is necessary to inform the provider 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery time. Additional charges may apply.

1.4 It is important to review all information provided regarding the selected car before proceeding with the reservation. After confirming the reservation, you accept the rental terms.”


2) PAYMENT

2.1 With the confirmation of the reservation, the full amount of the rental is collected, which includes the corresponding service fee and car rental price.

2.2 Prepayment of the rental amount can be made with any debit, credit, or prepaid VISA, Mastercard, Maestro card, as well as through Paypal. American Express and Diners cards are not accepted. However, at the beginning of the rental, you will be asked to provide your credit card. The credit card is mandatory for the guarantee of the car, and without it, the rental cannot be made.

2.3 Payments are made in euros, and the rental price does not include any charges for the currency conversion applied by your credit card.

2.4 In case you wish to extend the rental of the car, you must inform the provider timely, and they will confirm if the extension is possible from their side.

3) CANCELLATION

3.1 “In case of cancellation 7 days before the scheduled reservation, you will receive a full refund.

In case of cancellation between 7 days and 48 hours before the scheduled reservation, a 10% reduced amount will be refunded.

No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the rental.

3.2 For any modification of the reservation (change of time, location), as well as vehicle category change (subject to availability), you must inform the provider at least 48 hours before the reservation.

3.3 No refund will be provided if the car is returned earlier, therefore you will not receive any refund for unused rental days.


3.4 No refund will be provided if you fail to provide a credit card in your name to secure the required amount as a deposit for the car, or if you fail to present your documents (ID or passport, valid driver’s license) physically to the provider.

3.5 No-show: If the car is not picked up on the agreed day and time without prior written or phone notification, the reservation is considered void and no refund will be provided.


3.6 The provider may refuse to deliver the car to a customer under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The same applies to customers who were previously blacklisted by car rental companies.

4) INCLUDED AND NOT-INCLUDED

For all providers, the following apply:

4.1 The price does not include unlimited mileage. If desired, you must select it and accept the corresponding price adjustment for the daily rental.

4.2 The price includes 24% VAT.

4.3 Insurance

The stated prices include third party liability insurance and roadside assistance. You can choose additional insurance services (CDW Collision Damage Waiver, SW Full Exemption, TP Theft Protection) where the price is determined by each provider.

Note that the above insurances do not cover damages caused by violations of the Highway Code, as well as damages to tires, mirrors, windshield wipers, the underside of the vehicle, and the interior.

4.4 Additional Driver (A.D.)

Additional charge for each additional driver.

4.5 Accident folder expenses

The renter is charged €15.00 in case of liability for an accident. This amount is non-refundable.

4.6 Key loss or damage

In the event of key loss or damage during the rental period, the renter will be required to pay the corresponding amount for its replacement.

4.7 The price does not include child seat, snow chains, GPS navigation system, roof rack. These accessories are only available upon reservation and subject to availability.

5) DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

5.1 Driver’s License

You must provide a valid driver’s license issued at least one year before the rental date. An international driver’s license may be required depending on your country of origin.

5.2 Driver’s Age

Minimum age requirement: 23 years old

6) Renting a car for travel outside the country is not possible.

7) Transportation by ship is allowed with the provider’s approval
